DECLARATION AND FORMALITIES

Customs Declarations and Formalities Assistance:
Our customs declarants handle all customs procedures (customs declarations) on behalf of and in the name of our clients, including exporters, importers, and freight forwarders.

We take care of all your customs formalities:
each type of goods requires specific procedures, as every product has a unique customs code and must comply with distinct tariff classifications and regulations.

Preparing a customs declaration involves gathering key information from transport documents. Clients (exporters, importers, order givers) provide all necessary documentation, such as the commercial invoice, packing list, and others, to verify the origin of the goods, calculate transportation costs, and include EORI references. This information is then processed using certified systems approved by Customs Authorities.
Simplify your customs operations with our expert support.

TRANSIT

Customs transit is a procedure that facilitates the movement of goods across customs borders without requiring immediate import or export formalities. For example, customs transit between England and France allows goods to pass between these two countries without being subject to import or export processing at each border.

Since Brexit, transport operators are required to complete transit declarations for their goods and submit them to the appropriate customs authorities.

What documents are needed for customs transit?
Transit procedures rely on specific documents, primarily the T1 and T2 forms, which are essential for the international movement of goods.

T1 (Community Transit Document):
This document is used for goods transiting between European Union (EU) member states or between EU member states and certain third countries. T1 is applicable to goods under customs control, meaning they have not yet cleared customs and are in transit through one or more countries.

T2 (External Transit Document):
T2 is used for goods moving between third countries and EU member states. It applies to goods that remain under customs control in their country of origin and are transported to an EU destination without undergoing immediate customs formalities.

Simplify your customs transit with our expertise and ensure smooth cross-border operations.

ALCOHOL/EXCISE CLEARANCES

Our dedicated Alcohol Excise team specializes in managing the movement of controlled goods, whether it’s a single case or a full container load. We aim to make the clearance process for your goods fast and hassle-free.

As an HMRC-authorized Registered Consignee/Consignor, we can manage both fully and partially bonded consignments as well as duty-paid shipments.

How we support your excise clearances:
If you have your own Duty Deferment or Cash Account, or prefer to use ours for home-use consignments, our team will handle all Duty and VAT calculations related to your goods and process them as per your instructions.
For bonded goods, we are authorized to issue e-ADs (Electronic Administrative Documents) and generate ARCs (Administrative Reference Codes) via the EMCS (Excise Movement and Control System).
This ensures your consignments comply with regulations, from the UK port to your bonded warehouse.
If you hold an Excise Movement Guarantee with HMRC or prefer to use ours, we’ll ensure your goods are fully covered during transit.
